The client needed a product video for the McKINLEY Snap Helmet — an adult winter sports helmet built for alpine skiing and snowboarding. The brief centred on communicating four distinct engineering features: a double in-mould construction for lightweight protection, an active ventilation system with adjustable airflow and inner heat control, a unique magnetic lens adjustment mechanism, and a head ring system for micro-adjustable individual fit. Generic lifestyle footage wasn't going to cut it. The video needed to demonstrate each feature clearly enough that a viewer would understand the function without handling the product themselves.

We produced a high-quality video combining close-up detail shots with precise annotated sequences for each feature — showing the ventilation slider, the magnetic lens interface, and the head ring dial in action. Pacing and motion graphics were used to guide the viewer through each system without overwhelming them. The finished video gave the client a versatile asset suitable for e-commerce listings, retail displays, and social channels. By leading with the mechanics rather than lifestyle scenery, the video addressed the viewer's practical questions — how does this work, and why does it matter — before they'd thought to ask them.
